How Long Does It Last?

Dissolving effects begin within 24–48 hours, but full clearance can take up to 7–14 days, sometimes longer depending on the volume and location of filler.

Is there any downtime ?

Most patients experience minimal downtime and can usually resume normal daily activities immediately after treatment, including work, exercise, and social events.

You may notice: 

  • Mild to moderate swelling or redness at injection sites, typically lasting 1–3 days.
  • Tenderness or slight discomfort in the treated area for up to 5 days.
  • Possible bruising, depending on individual sensitivity.
  • Temporary small lumps or irregularities as the filler breaks down, usually resolving naturally within days.

  • Mild redness, swelling, or tenderness at injection sites
  • Bruising
  • Small lumps or irregularities that usually settle quickly

Less Common but Serious Risks:

  • Allergic reactions to hyaluronidase (rare, as patch test for sensitivity is first performed)
  • Infection
  • Overdissolving (removal of natural hyaluronic acid, which is rare and can be managed)
