Plasma sublimation is used to remove skin lesions, remove saggy skin, moles, warts, skin tags, benign lesions, and bellybutton tightening. The device is used to create heat to remove any unwanted lesions, in a quick and relatively pain free procedure.

What is involved in the Treatment?

The plasma machine is a pen like device with a metal tip that is help over an area causing an arc of fire or spark. This causes small pen tip like burns to the skin that resemble dots. Patients will be numbed prior to the procedure to ensure maximum comfort. The most remarkable thing about this device is its ability to convert a solid directly into a gas without a transitional liquid phase and thereby preventing any thermal damage to surrounding tissue.

Is there any downtime ?

Immediately after the treatment, you will notice redness to the skin and possibly a small amount of blood. The total recovery time depends on the depth of the lesion.  On average, patients have a red or brown scab for up to 72 hours. Patients can resume normal activities the following day. We advise keeping the area dry until the scab falls off. Patients can resume their normal skincare routine once the lesion has healed.
