At SLA Medical, we offer Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) injections to regenerate collagen and reverse the signs of ageing. PRF is a newer generation of PRP and is a natural treatment derived from your own blood, which is processed to concentrate platelets, growth factors, and fibrin, and then re-injected into targeted areas to promote tissue healing, stimulate collagen production, and improve skin texture. It’s an excellent option for achieving a youthful, vibrant look with no synthetic fillers.

How long does it last?

PRF injections stimulate your body’s natural healing and collagen production, and the results can last anywhere from 6 to 12 months. For optimal results, we recommend an initial course of 3 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart to build collagen and achieve noticeable improvements. While individual results vary, most patients see gradual improvements over the course of several weeks as collagen builds. For optimal results, we recommend maintenance treatments every 6 to 12 months.

Is there any downtime?

PRF injections typically have minimal downtime, though this can vary depending on the individual. You may experience some mild redness, swelling, or bruising around the injection sites, which typically resolves within a few days. Any discomfort is usually short lived, and most patients return to their normal activities the next day. We advise using arnica tablets for 5-7 days before your procedure to reduce the risk of bruising and promote faster recovery.

THE SLA WAY TO REJUVENATED SKIN

At SLA Medical, we use advanced techniques to administer PRF injections with precision, ensuring you achieve natural, beautiful results. Our experts understand the importance of your skin’s natural anatomy and work to enhance, rather than alter, its unique features.

We only use the highest quality PRF to promote healing and rejuvenation without compromising safety or comfort.
