Maintenance treatments are then advised every 6-12 months to ensure long lasting, progressive results.

Is there any downtime?

Downtime is minimal and varies from person to person. Common post-treatment effects include redness, swelling, and mild sensitivity, which generally subside within 1-2 days. With microneedling, you may also experience slight peeling or dryness as your skin regenerates. Bruising is rare but can occur, particularly with PRP injections.

To minimise downtime, we advise sensitive individuals to avoid blood-thinning supplements (like fish oil) a week before treatment. You can also take arnica tablets 5-7 days prior to reduce your post procedure side effects and downtime.
